Import your group

GudMem builds your group from something you already have — you never type names one by one.

On the Home screen, tap the + and pick a source:

Photo roster (PDF or Word): a class list with a photo beside each name. GudMem reads the faces and the names and pairs them up.

Photos or a folder: a set of individual photos where the file name is the person's name — the way most team directories and photo exports come. Point GudMem at the photos, a folder, or a ZIP of them.

A ZIP with subfolders: if the ZIP contains one folder per team or class, GudMem offers to create one group per folder. Smaller groups are learned faster.

CSV or spreadsheet: a list of names, with optional photo links.

From the web: a group page you can open in a browser.

After importing, you land on a review grid. Check that each face has the right name, fix anything that looks off, then create the group. If GudMem finds names but no usable faces, it asks before importing anyone without a photo — nothing is added behind your back.

Everything is read on your device — no photo or name is ever uploaded. The free version covers your first 15 faces; a bigger import brings in the first 15 and shows the rest blurred until you unlock.
